重庆机电职业技术大学（学校标识码为：4150012607），前身是重庆兵器工业职工大学，由长安、江陵、嘉陵、建设、长江、望江、西车、泸化等八所职大组成。2003年在重庆兵工职大的基础上成立全日制普通高等院校。2019年5月27日，教育部正式下文（教发函〔2019〕36号），批准重庆机电职业技术学院(本科)正式更名为“重庆机电职业技术大学”，成为全国首批本科职业教育试点高校，从2019年起面向全国招收本科学生。

学校位于重庆西部新区——璧山，校园占地约2800亩，建筑面积47万平方米。校园规划合理，依山而建，环境优雅，风景秀丽，建筑气势恢宏，教学设施完备，实训中心规模宏大，学生宿舍、体育场所、生活服务中心一应俱全，是宜居宜行宜学的优质校园。

学校在五十多年的办学历程中，逐步形成“源于兵工、军校融合、服务国防”“对接产业、智能制造、优势突出”“校企合作、产教融合、协同育人”的办学特色。先后荣获“全国十大特色职业学校”“全国职业院校就业百强”“全国双创示范单位”“全国校企合作先进单位”“全国国防教育先进单位”。学校是重庆市首家中国人民解放军定向培养士官高校，中国军事文化研究会常务理事单位，军工安防产业联盟副理事长单位，国家级高技能人才培训基地。

学校现开设有机械设计制造及自动化、材料成型及控制工程、机械电子工程技术、汽车工程技术、汽车服务工程技术、电气工程及自动化、智能制造工程技术、物联网工程技术、大数据工程技术、数字媒体技术、现代通信工程、工程造价、现代物流管理、大数据与财务管理、学前教育、环境艺术设计、舞蹈表演与编导等18个职业本科专业。另开设机械设计及制造、数控技术、机电一体化技术、汽车检测与维修技术、汽车装配技术、建筑工程、会计等41个专科专业。学校实验实训中心下设机械工程中心、中德汽车工程中心、智能制造工程中心、产教融合协同创新中心、虚拟仿真教学实训中心，建有中央财政支持实训基地3个，校内外实习、实训基地125个，其中校外顶岗实习基地66个。学校馆藏纸本和电子图书合计近215.3万册。

学校现有专任教师1049人。专任教师中具有副高及以上专业技术职称教师354人，占专任教师的33.75%；具有研究生学位专任教师669人，占专任教师的63.78%。

学校下设有机械工程学院、车辆与交通学院、电气与电子工程学院、信息工程学院、人居环境学院（原建筑工程学院、数字艺术学院合并组建）、工商管理学院、儿童发展与健康管理学院、艺术学院、军士生学院、通识教育学院、马克思主义学院等11个学院。现有专本科学生共计2.1万人。

Basic Information

With a 5-decades solid history, Chongqing Vocational and Technical University of Mechatronics originated from 721 Workers' University established by core military engineering enterprises in Sichuan Province in 1971, which used to be Chongqing Ordnance Industry Workers' University consisting of 8 Military Industry Staff Colleges like Changan, Jialing, Jianshe and so on. In 2023, it upgraded to a full-time higher vocational college. In 2018, it upgraded to a vocational and technical university at undergraduate level as one of the first group universities with pilot program for undergraduate vocational education in China.

Chongqing Vocational and Technical University is located in Bishan, which is in the radiation area of Chongqing High-tech Zone and the hinterland of Sichuan & Chongqing Economic Zone. It is close to Jinyun Mount and Binan River. It is covering an area of over 2800 acres with building area of over 500000㎡。The campus is decorated with mountain, lake and lush vegetation, where the architectures are magnificent, grand and dignified. Library, multifunctional sports venues, gym, swimming pool, smart apartments, one-stop community, life service center are all available and convenient on campus.

Devoted to high-tech research and development and providing think-tank supports, Chongqing Vocational and Technical University has founded several research institutes.
